My name is Chris Anderson and I am the new 5th grade teacher.  This is my tenth year of teaching and I am very excited to get this year started.  I was born and raised in Wichita and actually attended McCollom K-5.  I then went to Hadley and Wilbur before my parents moved to the Maize school district where I finished 8th-12th.  I went to college at Friends University and graduated in 2000.  I received my master degree in school leadership in 2005 and have continued teaching since then.  I taught my first 7 years at Harry St. Elementary, and my last two at Anderson Elementary. 
I have a wonderful wife, who is also a teacher.  We have three kids: a 1st grader, one in Pre-K, and an 11 month old.  I look forward to becoming part of the McCollom family.
